Description
Fixation time should be determined by trial.
Copper fixatives are not often used in modern histology. They have a reputation for good preservation, as the copper present may act as a mordant for some dyes, including hematoxylin. For that reason nuclear staining may be enhanced.
Safety Note
Prior to handling any chemical, consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for proper handling and safety precautions.
